This course is only available to students who have taken the fall semester Mechanics course - no exceptions. Students are expected to spend hours weekly in the year-long Mechanics class, and hours weekly in the one-semester class.
Both courses have a significant laboratory requirement, underscoring the reality that experimentation is the source of all accepted scientific knowledge in Physics.
